Terms and Conditions:
Reservations:
Confirmation of booking requires a 50% deposit of the Full Payment which includes cleaning fees, security deposit, Hawaii state sales and Transient accommodations tax (11.42%). Final payment is due 60 days prior to your arrival. Any bookings made 60 days or less will be charged the Full Payment for your reservation. Owners reserves the right to refuse any reservation.
Payments:
Payments can be made be personal or cashiers check, Master Card, or Visa.
Initial Reservation Payment:
An initial payment of 50% of the Full Reservation will be charged at the time the reservation is confirmed. The Full Reservation includes: the room rate, cleaning fees, security deposit, Hawaii States sales and Transient Accommodations tax (11.42%).
Security Deposit:
A security deposit will be held in a client trust account and shall be retained for damages to property, long distance charges, or other applicable charges. Refunds will be made within 14 days after departure. We also reserve the right to use your credit card in the event that the actual cost exceeds the security deposit. Prior of which you will receive a written notice of the amount owed.
Changes and Cancellations:
Cancellations made 61 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund minus a 20% handling fee. Cancellations made 60 days or less will be subject to re-booking. Any dates booked during the re-booking period will be refunded. No refunds will be given for late check in, early check out, or no shows. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation due to non-payment. Rescheduling your reservation will be left solely to the discretion of the owner.
Rates:
Rates are in US dollars, and reflect the base rate of the Rental. These rates do not include cleaning fees, security deposit, or sales and accommodations tax. Rates may be higher during holiday season. Most rates are advertised for 2 guest unless otherwise noted. Some rentals require an additional fee for extra guest. Most of our rentals require a standard 7 night minimum. However some rentals will accept shorter stays. Please inquire.
Cleaning Fees:
All of our rentals will charge a Non-Refundable cleaning fee. Please inquire rates vary with each Rental. Some homes include the cleaning fee as part of the Security Deposit. The cleaning fee will be assessed and the balance will be refunded. Provided care has been taken with the Rental.
Construction:
Hawaii is an island that is growing and expanding it's communities. Your vacation rental or condo may be situated next to new construction. Please try to be understanding. If construction should persist beyond a normal working period. We will try to contact them to ascertain starting and ending times, etc. No refunds or moves will be made.
General Disclosures:
We at Rent Hawaii Home strive to provide accurate and current information on our vacation rentals. However, we can make no guarantees. Changes to information, rates, homes, or properties may occur without our knowledge. Many of our homes are situated next to beachfronts, have pools, or spas that may not be child proof. Guest must understand the risk involved with these conditions and must take precautions to safeguard themselves
Miscellaneous .
Neighborhood residence and country rentals are subject to area noises which include and is not limited to dogs barking, chickens crowing, donkeys honking or cows mooing. No refunds or moves will be made.
Liability:
Rent Hawaii Home is a Reservation Service. We are an intermediary between those seeking travel services and those selling travel services. Our sole responsibility is to market and sell those services and shall not be held liable for any damage, loss, expense, or claims of any type including but not limited to claims of property damage, personal injury, or wrongful death. Indirect, direct, consequential or otherwise. Whatsoever, or howsoever caused or incurred be it arising in contract, in law or in equity as a result of rendering services or accommodations as described herein. Guest acquit, release, and forever discharge Rent Hawaii Home from any such claims or liability.
